THE PLAYING CARDS
Snap!
This, of course, is THE natural photographic card game

THE RULES - taking the picture
There are several ways of playing SNAP using these cards depending on how many players there are and also how many packs of cards you have. If you are lucky and have the the red & the blue version (this refers to the lettering on the backs and packet) then you have an amazing game for two people called "Snap a deux". The two players each shuffle a pack vigorously and then start to turn the cards face upwards in onto an individual pile in turns. If by any chance a king is placed down, followed by a king the player who yells SNAP first gets both piles of cards. Now you have a choice before you begin - either to allow SNAP to be called when a particular card is revealed, a king a queen a two an ace etc OR a particular suit - hearts diamonds - etc OR both. Obviously the latter makes for a good quick game. And the winner is the first person to accumulate all the cards. A fun simple fairly mindless game. Now another way of playing is to use one pack of cards and again agree on SNAP being called when a particular card is placed OR a suit OR both. Deal the cards between all the players and shuffle and then start creating piles. The game can be played by any number of people with any number of packs of cards. It can get out of hand and tempers can flare - but it doesnt half pass the time. Good for wet summer afternoons...
